Denise Richards: “I don’t want Charlie’s prostitute-tranny-infested sperm”

Posted on May 24th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Of all the Denise Richards-Charlie Sheen sperm comments that have been flying this week, the ‘tranny’ one is our favorite:

Denise Richards has claimed that ex-husband Charlie Sheen wants her to “die of cancer”.

The actress said Sheen hit an “all-time low” when she informed him that their three-year-old daughter Sam was unwell.

She told PageSix: “Last week, I sent Charlie a text message asking him if he’s going to Family Day [for Sam's school] and letting him know Sam was sick with a cold.

“His response was: ‘I hope you and your worthless retarded father get cancer and join your stupid mom. Rot in hell you whore.’ My mom died of cancer. This is what I deal with on a weekly basis.

“He missed Dad’s day at the school and my father had to go in his place. And this is how he talks to me?”

The pair are currently embroiled in a high-profile war of words over allegations that Richards sent an email begging for a donation of Sheen’s sperm.

The former Bond girl refuted the claims, saying: “I don’t want Charlie’s prostitute-tranny-infested sperm. I have two beautiful kids. We’ll leave it at that. I am so over him. He’s the one who can’t move on. He’s disgusting and he’s hit an all-time low.”

Sheen recently urged his ex-wife to take a lie detector test on live TV in a bid to settle the issue.

Adult Entertainment Hit Hard by Gas Prices

Posted on May 24th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

JACKSONVILLE, FL– The rising prices of gas, food and travel are having a major effect on the entertainment industry on the First Coast.

The typical lunch crowd at Sinsations has dwindled to two just guys and a couple of sandwiches. It’s the same story at gentlemen’s clubs all across the First Coast.

“People just don’t have the money to go out, they don’t have the money to buy a drink, they certainly don’t have the money to spend on an entertainer,” said the manager of Emperor’s Gentlemen’s Club Joe Serafini. Serafini says he has been forced to lay off staff, reduce prices and limit hours to turn a profit. Managers at Sinsations say their income has dropped by roughly 35% in recent months.

“I have to go to other places to try to make the money,” said an exotic dancer known as Storm.

“[I've gone from] about a grand a week, down to a couple hundred,” Storm added.

“The more they work, the more money they can make,” said Serafini.

“Now they’re making less money per hour because the gentlemen have less disposable income to give to them,” Serafini added.

Although many customers have likely received an economic stimulus refund from the federal government, Serafini says that money is not being spent in his club.

“I want to make my money just like everybody else,” said Storm.

She’s also spending more money to dance at Sinsations. Club managers are charging dancers $35 per song, compared to $25 several months ago.

Several managers say it will take a significant amount of time to make up for the recent losses.

Playboy Foundation Announces New $25,000 Freedom of Expression Award

Posted on May 22nd, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

CHICAGO — Building on five decades of defending free speech and American civil liberties, the Playboy Foundation today announced the creation of the new Freedom of Expression Award — a $25,000 seed grant to fund the work of a noteworthy advocate for the First Amendment.

“The Playboy Foundation’s new Freedom of Expression Award is designed to support the work of an exceptional person dedicated to protecting the First Amendment rights of all Americans,” said Christie Hefner, Chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises Inc. “This new award is a great addition to the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Awards, and will help to focus public attention on the continuing threats to our civil liberties.”

The $25,000 Freedom of Expression Award will help to support the work of an individual whose record of accomplishments indicates a promising future as an effective advocate for the First Amendment. Preference will be given to emerging leaders for whom the cash grant will make a significant difference in their ability to pursue the goal of protecting and promoting free speech in all its forms.

Christie Hefner created the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Awards in 1979 to honor individuals who have made significant contributions in the vital effort to protect and enhance First Amendment rights for Americans.

Over the last three decades, more than 125 valiant advocates for First Amendment freedoms — from lawyers and journalists to librarians, filmmakers and high school students — have been recognized with the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award. Historically, award winners have worked in journalism, education, book publishing, arts, entertainment, government and law.

In addition to creating the new Freedom of Expression Award this year, the Playboy Foundation is doubling the value of the cash award for the original Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Awards to $10,000. The Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award winners will be honored at a ceremony to be held at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

The Playboy Foundation will accept nominations for the 2008 Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Awards, including the Freedom of Expression Award, through July 4. For more information, or to submit a nomination, please contact the Playboy Foundation at 312-373-2435 or go to www.playboyenterprises.com/foundation

The Playboy Foundation supports local and national nonprofit organizations that protect the rights of the individual in a free society. Since its inception in 1965, the Foundation has awarded nearly $20 million in grants and in-kind contributions to organizations concerned with First Amendment freedoms, civil liberties and social justice.

Starbucks Logo Stirring More Than Coffee

Posted on May 21st, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

National Ledger - Starbucks Corp. has a new more revealing logo of its trademark mermaid and it has stirred up a bit of controversy. The new logo offers a more revealing look at the coffee chain’s mermaid symbol and goes with brown instead of the once trademark green as its color is getting mixed reviews from marketing and public relations experts, an MSNBC article notes.

Some believe that it is unusual while other think it is over the top. The logo features mermaid topless and bare-chested with her tail fin split in half. As soon as the photos hit the controversy was on. A Christian group based in San Diego found grounds for outrage over the new retro-style logo for Starbucks Coffee, a report from the Associated Press notes.

***

The Resistance says the new image “has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute,” Mark Dice, founder of the group, said in a news release. “Need I say more? It’s extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves Slutbucks.”

Is the new logo controversy enough to spur sales in a tough economy? Some reports claim that high gas prices and a sagging housing market have bitten into consumer confidence and Starbucks sales. Is this enough to get the buzz back for the Seattle Coffee company?

WWE’s Ashley Massaro Can Run, But She Can’t Hide

Posted on May 21st, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

wrestling101.cm - Philly Burbs journalist Eric Gargiulo has spoken to a few people close to the Ashley Massaro escort scandal story, and they are saying that the Ashley Massaro named by Rolling Stone is indeed the WWE Diva. Gargiulo’s sources are saying that the timing fits right and considering that the girl in question was advertised from New York City, it’s a pretty big giveaway.

As noted earlier, an anonymous person looked up the old website of the Los Angeles based “Bella Models” escort agency via Archive.org in hopes of finding something on Massaro. As luck would have it, Massaro’s page was archived on the web archive site, and a link to the archived page was disclosed to some wrestling news sites. Apparently, there was a picture of Massaro on the page at one point, but it was deleted or simply wasn’t archived. Although, Massaro’s name was never erased. The page said that Massaro was based out of New York City. Of course, the WWE Diva is from Long Island, New York, which is nearby New York City. The page also listed her nightly booking fee at $25,000.

Regarding Massaro’s employment status with World Wrestling Entertainment, Gargiulo’s sources are saying that she is not expected to be terminated from the company, nor is she really in any trouble — at least with them. Rather, company officials have told Massaro to keep quiet about the situation in hopes that the story simply goes away without further investigation or media attention.

The story itself was written by Michelle Grigoriadis, who recently did a heavily praised story on Britney Spears for Rolling Stone, which was very well written and researched. Considering that Massaro hasn’t said more on the subject and nobody has retracted, it pretty much confirms that nobody has provided enough suitable evidence to Rolling Stone or TMZ.com (which heavily investigated the possibility of a mistaken identity) to show that this is simply a case of mistaken identity. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com asked Grigoriadis to comment on the story and net theories. Grigoriadis told Johnson, “Obviously, I stand by my story.”

At the moment, it appears as though that the WWE Diva’s lone saving grace is Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer saying that there is, or at least was, “another Ashley Massaro” based out of Las Vegas. The alleged Massaro is a bikini model who won some major bikini competitions in 2003 and 2004, according to Meltzer. Additionally, the alleged Massaro is three years younger than the WWE Diva. People have trying to find information online on the supposed bikini model, but no one’s been able to pull up up anything on her. Even if a Las Vegas based Ashley Massaro does indeed exist, the only other possible explanation that the person named by Rolling Stone is not the WWE Diva is if the Las Vegas bikini model happened to live in New York City in 2003-2004 as well, and that’s a pretty big stretch.

Playboy looking for the next playmate on YouTube

Posted on May 20th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Los Angeles- “Playmates are hard to find!” giggled Holly Madison, whose resume fairly bulges with credits like Playmate editor, 2005 Playboy cover girl, star of E!’s “The Girls Next Door,” and lady-friend of Hugh Hefner.

Madison is in charge of Playboy’s online casting call, part of the magazine’s search for its 55th-anniversary playmate. The magazine invited aspiring centerfolds across the U.S. to submit (non-nude!) videos to YouTube describing why they should be the one to be splayed across those august pages come January 2009, the release date of the anniversary issue.

Whereas the 400-person live casting events Playboy generally uses tend to yield only one candidate, Madison said the results of the YouTube contest have been surprising. Of the 42 submissions she’s received in the first week of the contest, “I’ve seen several girls I definitely want to fly out here and test.”

On the screen in front of her, a candidate was busy removing her small white T-shirt to reveal a skimpy striped bikini. “I think I should be the 55th-year anniversary playmate because I love,” she says, the shirt flying off, “to get naked!”

Madison tittered. “You can’t judge them too harshly because I don’t know what I would say either! The worst is when people say, ‘Tell me about yourself,’ and you’re like … uhhh.”

If you wade through the submissions, you’ll see that–like YouTube videos in general–most of them are amateurish and borderline unwatchable. The girls talk about their favorite sports teams, their gymnastics skills, hometowns, how they made lasagna earlier this week, and how they’d love, just love, to be a playmate. Some viewers may experience a spike in interest when the candidates invite them into the shower (see video below), but most of this footage wouldn’t make many final cuts, even for a reality show.

But that’s less a criticism than a point in the Playboy’s favor. Rather than worrying about how silly homemade videos might tarnish the bunny’s hard-won image, Playboy is experimenting with something new.

Hardly any major media companies are inviting regular folk to contribute user-generated videos to a page that also shows their corporate logo. Music companies use YouTube to release their music, and TV companies use it to promote their TV shows. Perhaps its only fitting that Playboy be the one to go where no one else dares tread.

Soon Madison’s screen showed a different girl painting a picture of the famed bunny on a large canvas. She’s wearing a bikini bottom. The bunny comes out pretty well.

“I think it takes a little extra bravery to put up a video for the whole world to see,” Madison said.

While it might be less efficient than live casting in some ways, a YouTube casting call can reach a much larger pool of aspirants. And, as Madison points out, anyone who’s willing to post their audition video online clearly isn’t afraid to put themselves out there.

Bikini Car Wash Could Close Over Permits

Posted on May 20th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Australia- A BIKINI car wash where staff pole dance and show erotic videos could close after a Victorian tribunal found it was operating unlawfully.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Kittens car wash in Bentleigh East was breaching its business permit by promoting its Kittens strip clubs.

The Warrigal Rd car wash has outraged many Bentleigh East locals since it opened in 2006.

But it was business as usual yesterday, with manager Angelo Dimozantos claiming the VCAT judgement had been misinterpreted, and that the car wash could remain open.

The VCAT order showed Kittens could remain open if they dropped the number of car wash staff from eight to two, removed promotional material and built a fence and carport by August 13, Mr Dimozantos said.

But Senior VCAT member Richard Horsfall last week found Kittens was operating unlawfully.

Mr Horsfall said using up to six “skimpily clad”girls and two males to wash cars essentially transformed the business into an erotic enterprise- which falls under a different business permit.

“I find that the whole activity constitutes an dominant and separate activity like a performance or a show to promote the Kittens Clubs,” Mr Horsfall said.

“The conduct of the girls shown by the evidence and the photos is the most prominent aspect of the operation and the impact on the public realm is shown by the strength of the public reaction.

“Accordingly I find that the conduct of the car wash as presented to the tribunal…is a separate and distinct use that is not ancillary to the permitted use as a car wash and requires a separate permit, and until that permit is granted is unlawful.”

Glen Eira City Council- who took the VCAT action against Kittens- today said they would send an enforcement team to the car wash to ensure it stops operating.

Councillor Kate Ashmor said Kittens could be fined for breaching the VCAT order.
Ms Ashmor said the VCAT decision was a major win for the council, and Kittens needed to comply with the order.

“So many people have been upset about this for a long time,” Ms Ashmore said.

“It’s a residential area, there’s a huge number of families here, and even a kids’ music studio next door and a judo club across the road.”

Mr Dimozantos said Glen Eira Council was “completely wrong” in their interpretation of the findings, and that he was considering taking legal action.

He said the car wash was a successful business, attracting up to 50 cars a day.

Customers pay between $10 and $35 per wash, according to car size.

Internet Law - New U.K. Extreme Obscenity Ban Passed

Posted on May 19th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

A new law criminalizing possession of extremely graphic images has been passed in U.K. as part of the latest Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill, and conviction by the statute will be punishable by up to three years in jail, according to the U.K. Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry stated, “Material covered will include necrophilia, bestiality, and violence that is life threatening or likely to result in serious injury.” Under the new law, criminal liability now extends from the producer, who was responsible under the 1959 Obscene Publications Act (OPA), to the consumer.

The law’s change was spearheaded by a person related to a British murder victim. Half a decade ago, Jane Longhurst 31, a teacher from Brighton, England was murdered. When investigators found the killer and studied the crime, it emerged the murderer was compulsively accessing extremely graphic adult-content oriented websites with such names as, “Club Dead,” and “Rape Action,” that specialized in selling images of women being abused and violated.

After the sentencing of Graham Coutts, 39, from Hove, Sussex, who received at least 26 years, Jane’s mother Liz, began working to get the laws changed. Liz’s mother is from Berkshire, and her demand for a change in the law was backed by Reading West MP Martin Salter, as she waged a three-year campaign to ban violent online images and movies.

The Ministry of Justice stated that the law was crucial to battle against easy Internet access and sale of such violent obscene images. The Ministry stated that such material “can be accessed in the UK from abroad via the internet.

Legislating in this area will ensure that the possession of such material is illegal both on and off line. This Government will always seek to close gaps in the law caused by misuse of new technologies, such as the internet, which allow existing controls to be avoided.” The legislation covers real photography and also images not photographed, such as moving images, and files or data able to be converted into pictures.

The new law has an element that makes it more nuanced in terms of focusing on peddlers of the worst and most degrading types of images. The text allows for grading the context of images, and gives the prosecutor and judge discretion in deciding whether an image which might seem to constitute extreme depictions in isolation may not be such in a broader context.

The Ministry of Justice claims that the new law is neither intended to target those who accidentally come into contact with obscene materials; nor target mainstream entertainment products that broadly are legal within current obscenity laws.

Ms Longhurst believes Libertarians have pegged her as “a horrible killjoy,” and these same critics fear non-criminal images consumers who use violent pictures images as part of consensual relationships could easily get swept up in raids. Liz Longhurst disagrees, saying “Sometimes the freedoms of like-minded, decent people have to be curtailed because of a few others. I know some would argue women choose to do this. But I believe a lot of women who have been trafficked are forced to be on these sites.”

But Ms Longhurst believes if the violent porn sites had not been available for Coutts, her daughter might still be living. She said, “It made it seem all right. I think he knew from quite a young age that it wasn’t really all right. But I think he thought: ‘Well, there are all these sites, I’m not the only one and it must be all right really’ and so he just went with the flow.”

MP Salter agreed that the campaign was no “moral crusade” but instead was targeting the “violent end of the market - material that was already illegal but with the advent of the internet was unregulated”.

Salter continued, “This is the combination of a three-year campaign waged by Liz Longhurst and myself, which garnered the support of church groups, women’s organizations, 189 MPs, and generated 50,000 signatures on a national petition.”

The Ministry of Justice said the new law would be enforced by individual police forces who were “already working on protecting the public in this field”. A Ministry spokesman said the number of prosecutions would undoubtedly be quite small.
