‘Girls Next Door’ to Appear for Third Time on Playboy Cover

Posted on January 31st, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. [AP] —  Three is the magic number for Playboy magazine’s March issue.

Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson — better known as Hugh Hefner’s trio of blonde girlfriends from E!’s “The Girls Next Door” reality series — will appear for the third time on the cover of Playboy.

“It kinda happened by accident,” Hefner told The Associated Press. “It was not the original plan. I knew we were overdue for a cover featuring the girls. For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the Internet of who should be on the top of the list. Lo and behold, as the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list.”

Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson will be featured together in three different covers for the “25 Sexiest Celebrities” issue. In the newsstand edition cover image, out Feb. 8, the women are clad in glittery lingerie in front of a starry backdrop.

“To be perfectly frank, I have unexpectedly fallen in love,” Hefner said of his ongoing relationship with the three women. “It is the relationship with Holly that will probably last forever. The others will last for as long as they want it to last before going on with their careers and lives.”

Among the celebrities to make Playboy’s list are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Hefner said the top three online celebrity vote-getters were Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, with “The Girls Next Door” coming in fourth place.

“Yes, there was some favoritism involved,” Hefner joked. “I know them personally.”

For the mature woman who has everything: a boy toy

Posted on January 31st, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

New York [Reuters] - Abelson, 27, calls it “Natural Selection Speed Date II: Sugar Mamas & Boy Toys.” He came up with the idea after drawing criticism from feminists for organizing an event last year that paired wealthy older men with young women.

More than 5,000 men applied for a place in this year’s event. Twenty finalists were selected.

“I think for men it is an incredible fantasy (to be with an older woman),” Abelson said. “Older women are more experienced and they know what they want.”

The prospective boy toys — who had to be under 35 — were screened by Janice Spindel, billed as New York’s most exclusive matchmaker.

“I really think a lot of people will connect,” Spindel said. “Age is just a number, and some people are unlisted.”

Monique Alexander Gives Advice

Posted on January 29th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

The first sex advice column by Vivid contract performer Monique Alexander has been posted in the magazine section of AdultFriendFinder.com. Alexander succeeds Vivid contract performer Savanna Samson, who previously wrote the sex-advice column.

Alexander recently was seen in Vivid’s “Debbie Does Dallas … Again,” and the Showtime series about the making of the production. She also is an on-air sportswriter with the National Lampoon Radio Network’s “The Phil Show,” heard on XM satellite radio.

In her first column, Alexander answers a question from a husband about how to convince his wife to wear a collar to express their dominant-and-submissive lifestyle, saying, “I know as a woman I hate it when my partner tries to pressure me into something that I’m not ready for. I automatically shut down and don’t want to do it at all.

“You should make it seem more like a fantasy of yours. Make it like you want to role-play. The bottom line is, the more you push it, the less chance you’re going to have of making it happen, so give her a chance to digest it and hopefully your fantasy of her wearing a collar will become her fantasy as well.”

Porn Stars and Strippers Go to College

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. [AP]  - Porn stars and strippers will be going to college next month.

The president of William and Mary will allow a controversial “Sex Workers’ Art Show” to be held on the Virginia campus.

The administration had tried to get students to find an off-campus venue for the show. But William and Mary President Gene Nichol says he’s compelled by the First Amendment and university traditions to allow the event. The “Sex Workers’ Art Show” will feature monologues and performances by porn performers, strippers and other sex workers.

Politico Wants Tax on hotel porn movies

Posted on January 28th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Denver [Denver Post] - A state lawmaker wants to tax in-room adult movies ordered at hotels to help fund child sex-abuse investigations.

The current version of House Bill 1086, sponsored by Rep. Amy Stephens, R-Monument, would impose a 99-cent fee on all in-room movies ordered at hotels. Stephens, though, said she plans to narrow her proposal to apply to just adult movies.

The money would go into a fund for children’s advocacy centers, which counsel sexually abused children and help police and prosecutors interview young victims. There are 14 such centers in Colorado and more than 600 nationally.

Stephens said imposing the fee on adult movies to fund child sex-abuse investigations only makes sense. “Most of our sexual predators in prison are addicted to pornography,” she said.

Cathryn Hazouri, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado, said the bill violates the First Amendment.

“Adult entertainment is just that. Whether you like it or not, adults have the right to view it,” Hazouri said.

Homemade porn is sweeping the globe.

Posted on January 28th, 2008 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

WWW [mainecampus.com]- Britney Spears did it. Amy “Long Island Lolita” Fisher has one. Rumormongers say Vivica A. Fox has, too. Even the Minister of Health for Malaysia, Chua Soi Lek, has one. Saucy, right?

Add Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, a slew of B-list celebrities and the phenomenon has passed the trend barrier and is now a cultural mainstay: homemade porn is sweeping the globe.

The good news for budding sexual documentarians is that the technology is cheap and accessible to everyone. The bad news is, so is the result: your spring break exploits are only a bitter ex and a Google search away from the most awkward dinner conversation you’ll ever have with your parents.

If you’re tempted by such harbingers of celebrity status as Amy Fisher and Britney Spears - oh, and Chua Soi Lek - there’s a few things you should consider before making the leap into amateur porn. Make no mistake about it, videotaping yourself having sex, even for an audience of two, is amateur porn. In this day and age, where porn stars are as mainstream as pop stars - and some, as we know, dabble in both - it may be tempting to think that getting on on the TV is cool and real, and getting it on the TV is even cooler and more glamorous.

The widespread nature of pornography has an impact on your sex life, whether you know it or not. Before I sound like a total prude, let me extol some virtues of pornography. For one, evidence across several studies has concluded that pornography reduces incidents of rape. A 10 percent increase in Web access to porn cuts down a state’s rate of sexual assault by about 7.5 percent. So, would-be date rapists and sexual predators: the university is providing you with a high-speed Internet connection - enjoy it to your heart’s content.

For the rest of us, there’s another side of porn. These days, when the ABC network can be fined $14.3 million for showing female buttocks on an episode of “NYPD Blue” that it aired five years ago, porn may be the only place left allowed to acknowledge the existence of sex. If that’s the case, it has a real impact on ideas of sexual performance and expectations for men and women.

Men might get concerned that their ejaculation isn’t adequate because it fails to travel to Europe - or even the edge of the bed. Porn-damaged boys expect women and women’s bodies to live up to unrealistically molded proportions and they forget what real girls look like.

Women getting their ideas of sexual expectations from porn are a tragic case as well, since the women of porn never experience any kind of pleasure from it. Female porn viewers, in many cases, get used to the idea that some degree of physical discomfort must be involved in pleasing a partner, which is setting women’s sexual education back to the ’50s.

If porn makes your actual sex life look dry and boring, well, that’s what it is supposed to be doing. It brings a completely new meaning to “the free hand of the market.” Competition for customers propels producers into ratcheting up their content to extremes. If you haven’t seen “Two Girls, One Cup,” consider yourself a better person, and respect the fact that you can still look your mom in the eyes - but it’s the perfect example of where porn goes to catch desensitized viewers. Remarkably, it’s gone mainstream enough to be mentioned on VH1.

Watching porn could make anyone feel overwhelmed by the idea that being real is enough to please anyone these days. People get used to seeing increasingly extreme kinds of sex acts on the Internet, and suddenly, real sex can’t compete. To compensate, partners try to imitate the stuff they’ve seen in porn. This is a problem.

If you lose yourself in bed - or wherever you choose to get it on - you’re losing a big part of your relationship. That’s the downside of even mild porn: Instead of actually enjoying sex, you’re dedicating precious naked-time to an act of performance. When two people are “performing” for each other, they’re getting rid of actual intimacy: instead of sex being about generosity and mutuality and communication - you know, healthy, normal attitudes - it becomes about trying to look and act like a porn star.
Expressing your personality and the complicated dynamics of a relationship sexually may seem messy and unthinkable, which is tragic - because that’s the whole point.

Add this recent drive for couples to document their sex lives on videotape. Some people fetishize a computer screen to the point where they just have to see their own naked torsos thrusting in full-fledged high-definition glory.

Don’t get me wrong, if it makes you happy, anything is acceptable - as long as both parties are honest, consenting and everyone is aware of the risks. The trouble with the naked amateur cinematographers of the world is that the risk isn’t always clear. Even if you trust your partner, there’s no guarantee the pictures won’t be found by a third party - a camera gets lost, a computer is repaired, who knows? Then there’s the issue of the tapes or files getting around - maybe to a close friend, who then sends it to just one more close friend, etc. Even if you trust your partner now, how can anyone predict how trustworthy they will be after a breakup?

There’s nothing wrong with adding some kink to your sex life, but homebrew porn is one of the riskier endeavors a person could take. Emotionally speaking, it’s not safe sex. If you want to pump more adrenalin into your sex life, there’s plenty of room for your imagination to express itself. If you really can’t help yourself, watch it once and then take a hammer to the tape. For the rest of us, if you want to try your hand at imitating celebrities, stick to karaoke night.
