Indictment seeks forfeiture of sites like pissedonpornstars.com…Now watch the industry whistle passed the graveyard.

[TheSmokingGun.com] - If federal prosecutors get their way, Uncle Sam will one day own the web site pissedonpornstars.com. That’s because Paul Little–described as a “Hollywood director and producer” in a Department of Justice press release–has been indicted on federal obscenity counts. The 50-year-old Little, who uses the handle “Max Hardcore,” was named in a ten-count indictment charging him with transporting obscene matter via mail and computer. A copy of the indictment, which was filed in Tampa, Florida and unsealed yesterday, can be found below. As described in the DOJ release, Little is a “nationally-known director, producer, and star of films featuring acts such as anal penetration, urination, insertion of an entire hand into a vagina or anus, vomiting, and severe violence” towards female performers. The government seeks forfeiture of Little’s web sites, maxhardcore.com, catalinaxx.com, and pissedonpornstars.com, and several films referred to in the indictment.

As wife packs up, is A-Rod out at home?

[NY Daily News] - Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez vowed yesterday that revelations about his off-the-field antics wouldn’t affect his play for the slumping Bombers.

“I certainly don’t think this will be a distraction to our team,” A-Rod said before last night’s winning effort against the Toronto Blue Jays.

But it may be a distraction at home: His wife, Cynthia [pictured], brusquely left their East Side pad last night with two suitcases, refusing to speak with reporters.

A-Rod wouldn’t directly address reports that he spent Sunday night out on the town with a sexy blond gal pal - while his wife was back in New York with their 2-year-old daughter. But his manager, Joe Torre, spoke up for his star player after meeting with him in private.

“Alex is a big boy. I know how serious he takes his baseball, so it really wasn’t an issue for me,” Torre said, adding that he thought the media attention was “over the line.”

Yet the sighting of A-Rod, 31, and the buxom blond in Toronto led to several accounts yesterday, all portraying the slugger as a serial strip clubber.

The Toronto woman also was spotted on A-Rod’s arm two weeks ago at a glitzy Las Vegas nightclub, according to gossip Web site TMZ.com. Rodriguez stopped by the Tryst nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort with the blond after midnight on May 14, an off day while the Yankees were traveling from Seattle to Chicago.

They tried to go to the topless pool bar Bare, but were turned away because there was a private party there, a source said.

Just this March, A-Rod was spotted chatting up a curvy blond inside the Whiskey Park bar in Tampa, not far from the Yankees’ spring training home.

He chatted with the mystery woman at the bar, then whisked her away to a strip club for the rest of the night, witnesses said.

In New York, A-Rod used to be a regular at the VIP Club, where he always asked for a dancer who performs under the stage name Monique.

Monique is 5-feet-5 with brown hair and brown eyes and has a well-toned, muscular figure, a pal said.

When the stripper jumped over to the Hustler Club, Rodriguez started going there to see her perform and buy sexy lap dances, a source said.

He even took her out for a pricey shopping spree at the Versace store on Fifth Ave., the source said.

A petite stripper at the Hustler Club said A-Rod “likes the she-male, muscular type. They brought me up to the champagne room one time. I spun around once and that was it. I’m not his type.”

She said A-Rod often brought his wife to the club “and she’s very pretty. I’d rather dance for her any day.”

A-Rod also regularly hangs out at other strip clubs in New York, such as HeadQuarters and Rick’s Cabaret.

“A-Rod is known as the king of the strip clubs,” a source said. “He gives the girls his number to meet somewhere else later on.”

He also goes to a private social club in Chelsea that fronts as a poker club but also hosts wild, after-hours sex romps, a source said.

Some claimed Rodriguez even shoots X-rated text messages to hisfavorite strippers across the country.

“He loves to text dirty,” said a strip club insider. “His wife should check his messages.”

The off-field shenanigans are nothing new for A-Rod, who met his gorgeous wife, Cynthia, 34, at the gym in Miami, their hometown.

Her mother, Evangeline Scurtis, 60, actually praised her son-in-law yesterday, saying, “He’s a very nice guy, a wonderful guy.”

Outside Yankee Stadium, team general manager Brian Cashman wouldn’t comment specifically on the A-Rod mess, but he noted wearily, “It’s been extremely difficult times.”

‘Stray-Rod?’ Tabloid Pounces on A-Rod

Posted on May 31st, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Alex Rodriguez made the cover of the New York Post on Wednesday — and not because of the New York Yankees’ latest slump. “STRAY-ROD” blared the Page 1 headline across a picture of A-Rod and an unidentified woman. “Alex hits strip club with mystery blonde,” it continued.

The Post said the pair entered an elevator at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto — near the Park Hyatt where most of the Yankees stayed — after dinner at a steak house Sunday night. They later went to a strip club, the newspaper said.

An inside headline called him a “YANKEE DOODLE RANDY.”

“Cynthia Rodriguez — A-Rod’s wife and mother of their 2 1/2-year-old daughter Natasha — was nowhere to be seen,” the Post said.

Rodriguez had little to say on the matter before Wednesday’s game against Toronto.

“Absolutely no comment about anything personal and I certainly don’t think this will be a distraction to our team,” he said.

Asked whether it would be a distraction to him personally, Rodriguez said, “No, I don’t think so.”

“I think everything probably got blown out of proportion like always,” outfielder Johnny Damon said.

Manager Joe Torre agreed: “When you get into that area, I think it’s over the line. It’s what people seem to think is important or seem to think they have to do.

“In New York, there are so many more things that you talk about on a regular basis in addition to baseball,” Torre added. “When I took this job I certainly knew it wasn’t going to be about hitting and running and changing pitchers.”

Torre said Rodriguez discussed the tabloid story with him.

“Alex is a big boy,” Torre said. “I know how serious he takes his baseball. It really wasn’t an issue for me in the fact that he wouldn’t be ready to play tonight.

“My job is to keep the distractions from carrying over onto the playing field,” Torre said.

The Yankees began the day at 21-29 and 14 1/2 games behind Boston in the AL East.

Man Described as One of World’s Top 10 Spammers Arrested in Seattle

Posted on May 31st, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

SEATTLE [AP] —  A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised “zombie” computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.

“He’s one of the top 10 spammers in the world,” said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company’s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. “He’s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day.”

A federal grand jury last week returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.

Soloway pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon to all charges after a judge determined that — even with four bank accounts seized by the government — he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer.

He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.

A public defender who represented him for Wednesday’s hearing declined to comment.

Prosecutors say Soloway used computers infected with malicious code to send out millions of junk e-mails since 2003. The computers are called “zombies” because owners typically have no idea their machines have been infected.

He continued his activities even after Microsoft won a $7 million civil judgment against him in 2005 and the operator of a small Internet service provider in Oklahoma won a $10 million judgment, prosecutors said.

U.S. Attorney Jeff Sullivan said Wednesday that the case is the first in the country in which federal prosecutors have used identity theft statutes to prosecute a spammer for taking over someone else’s Internet domain name. Soloway could face decades in prison, though prosecutors said they have not calculated what guideline sentencing range he might face.

The investigation began when the authorities began receiving hundreds of complaints about Soloway, who had been featured on a list of known spammers kept by The Spamhaus Project, an international anti-spam organization.

The Santa Barbara County, Calif., Department of Social Services said it was spending $1,000 a week to fight the spam it was receiving, and other businesses and individuals complained of having their reputations damaged when it appeared spam was originating from their computers.

“This is not just a nuisance. This is way beyond a nuisance,” Warma said.

Soloway used the networks of compromised computers to send out unsolicited bulk e-mails urging people to use his Internet marketing company to advertise their products, authorities said.

People who clicked on a link in the e-mail were directed to his Web site. There, Soloway advertised his ability to send out as many as 20 million e-mail advertisements over 15 days for $495, the indictment said.

The Spamhaus Project rejoiced at his arrest.

“Soloway has been a long-term nuisance on the Internet — both in terms of the spam he sent, and the people he duped to use his spam service,” organizers wrote on Spamhaus.org.

Soloway remained in federal detention pending a hearing Monday.

Rock Confidential Names 2007 Readers’ Choice Award Winners

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — RockConfidential.com, a site that celebrates the relationship between adult entertainment and rock n’ roll, has announced the winners in its first annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Digital Playground contract stars Jesse Jane and Janine were the two highest vote getters in each of their respective categories for both the mainstream and adult portions of the awards.

Rock Confidential’s readers poll kicked off in March with fans casting their votes via write-in ballots. No nominees were pre-selected. The adult entertainment-focused section of the awards consisted of 12 categories.

Jesse Jane [pictured] was voted Best Female Porn Star by an overwhelming margin and also is a columnist for the site.

“Jesse Jane received more votes than any other individual or group in any category,” RockConfidential.com editor Jesse Capps said. “I think her awesome personality and ‘rocker chick’ attitude is a definite win with the fans and this poll proves it. The voters may like different bands or songs, but it’s obvious that they all love Jesse Jane.”

Digital Playground’s “sometime” contract star Janine was voted Hottest MILF and Joone’s “Island Fever 4” was crowned as the Best Adult Feature.

“‘Island Fever 4’ is a beautifully shot production with some of the hottest chicks in the industry today,” Capps said. “It’s no wonder our readers voted it in the top spot. And what else can I say about Janine? She’s a legend. She’s a rocker. She’s funny. I’ve had the hots for her for a long time and it makes me a little nervous to see that I’m not alone.”

Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis said that the studio was honored to receive the awards because of Rock Confidential’s credibility across a wide swath of both music lovers and porn fans.

“Rock Confidential reaches a wide demographic that extends beyond our typical customers,” Lewis said. “To have received the accolades and attention that we did, in so many categories, with diverse public votes, speaks volumes about our presence and perception.

“I am so proud of Jesse. She is a beautiful and sexy girl and so down to earth, everyone falls in love instantly. I’d like to thank my partner Joone for implementing his vision in ‘Island Fever 4,’ to Jesse Capps and all the staff at Rock Confidential for hosting the contest and of course, to all the fans that voted. We wouldn’t be visible without your support.”

A-ROD HITS A STRIP JOINT WITH TORONTO BABE

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

We suspect his wife’s attorney would like some 8×10s.

[NY Post] - Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez stepped up to the plate with a mysterious, busty blonde in Toronto, as these intimate, exclusive photos reveal.

The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey steakhouse late Sunday night, then headed to a glitzy strip club before making their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into an elevator and headed upstairs just after midnight.

Cynthia Rodriguez - A-Rod’s wife and mother of their 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Natasha - was nowhere to be seen during the slugger’s big night out on the town, which occurred the evening before the last-place Bronx Bombers’ pathetic 7-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

And it came as Rodriguez took a room at Toronto’s Four Seasons hotel - down the street from the Park Hyatt, where most, if not all of his Yankee teammates and coaches are staying during a three-game stint that ends tonight.

“No comment,” Rodriguez said when The Post asked him about his north-of-the-border jaunt with the blonde.

Yankees spokesman Jason Zillo said A-Rod has “never commented on his personal or private life, and he’s not going to start now.”

Rodriguez went 0-for-3 last night in the Yanks’ 3-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

A-Rod started his busy Sunday in The Bronx, where the Yankees dropped a third straight game to the Los Angeles Angels.

The powerhouse third baseman then flew to Toronto, where he checked into the Four Seasons in the city’s posh Yorkville section.

After settling in, the 31-year-old A-Rod, the mystery blonde and two men left the Four Seasons in a taxi shortly after 8:30 p.m., and headed to dinner at Harbour Sixty Steakhouse, a ritzy restaurant located about two miles away near the city’s harbor and the Rogers Centre, where the Blue Jays play.

Rodriguez, who was wearing his wedding band, was casually dressed in jeans and a white, short-sleeved T-shirt featuring a large fleur-de-lis on its left arm. His tight-bodied, bleach-blonde gal pal was clad in a snug pair of blue jeans, a shiny, light T-shirt and wedge-heeled shoes.

A witness told The Post that Rodriguez and his three companions spent about two hours dining at Harbour Sixty.

Rodriguez and the blonde, and possibly the two other men, then were driven in one of Harbour Sixty’s cars two miles to the Brass Rail, a flashy strip club located on Yonge Street.

The witness saw A-Rod and the woman go into the Brass Rail just after 11 p.m.

Home to what one Web site calls, “Toronto’s most beautiful all-nude dancers,” the Brass Rail is known for its booming sound system, overflowing crowds, overpriced beers and $20 lap dances - a drop in the bucket for Rodriguez, who has a 10-year contract worth $252 million.

Rodriguez and the blonde spent an hour or so at the Brass Rail, the witness said.

When they walked out of there, A-Rod and the woman were alone.

They then got a cab back to the Four Seasons. Their cab pulled up to the hotel minutes after midnight.

A-Rod then strode into the hotel behind her. He rubbed his nose as if to obscure his face to other people as he joined her at the elevator bank.

As the doors to an elevator opened, he and the blonde got in together, the witness said.

The doors then closed, and they disappeared upstairs.

Jerry Buss arrested in Carlsbad

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

Was the babe in his car his granddaughter? Way to go Jerry!!!

[LA Times] - Lakers owner Jerry Buss was arrested early Tuesday morning in Carlsbad on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and faces two misdemeanor charges, according to a police report.

Buss, 74, failed a sobriety test after being pulled over at 12:50 a.m. near downtown Carlsbad. Police said his blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit of 0.08%, although the final results were not released.

Officers followed Buss after he failed to depress the high beams of his gold Mercedes-Benz E320 while driving southbound on Carlsbad Blvd. Officers were traveling northbound. Officers then observed Buss taking a wide turn and crossing over a double yellow line.

Buss didn’t initially pull over — “He didn’t react right away,” according to the police report — but then moved to the curb. “Mr. Buss was cooperative,” said CHP officer Tom Kerns. “It was an uneventful DUI arrest.”

A 23-year-old woman, Jeannana M. Flores of New York City, was also in the car with Buss and was not arrested.

“Although I was driving only a short distance, it was a bad decision and I was wrong to do it,” Buss said in a statement.

“It was a mistake I will not make again.”

Buss was taken to the Vista Detention Facility near Oceanside and was released on bail.

Buss has a home in the Carlsbad area.

Billboard called racy, wrong

Posted on May 30th, 2007 in Uncategorized | Comments Off

[Chicago Tribune] - A billboard for a salon and medical spa, promoting cosmetic procedures and featuring a woman wearing little more than an off-the-shoulder top, has outraged some Glenview residents who say it sends the wrong message.

“I was shocked,” said Regina Thibeau. “I was offended as a woman, angered as a mother and embarrassed as a resident of Glenview.”

The 10-foot-by-36-foot sign along Willow Road near Patriot Boulevard depicts a model lying on the beach with lines pointing to “problem” areas on her body, such as facial lines and wrinkles, and corresponding “solutions,” including Botox.

By Tuesday, more than 300 people had signed petitions asking the owners of the salon and medical spa to replace the billboard, Thibeau said.

Salon owner Pascal Ibgui said the billboard promoting Pascal Pour Elle and Skin Deep Medical Spa is simply an advertisement.

“No, I will not bring it down,” said Ibgui, a Paris native, who added that the sign is modest compared to what might appear in France. “I will leave it up.”

The billboard went up about two weeks ago and is leased through July by Ibgui and his business partner, plastic surgeon Steven Bloch.

“I’d like for them to replace it with another ad,” Jackie Lutz said. “To me, a billboard is very different than a magazine ad or a direct mail campaign; I can turn the page in a magazine but I can’t avoid Willow Road.”

Ibgui said he has returned the phone calls of everyone who has complained, even offering free services at his business. But persuading him to change the billboard could be an uphill battle.

Bloch said the billboard does not show anything that’s “grossly provocative or titillating” and does not “violate any public morality clauses.”

In a recent direct mail campaign, Ibgui and Bloch sent cards to 25,000 households on the North Shore featuring the same picture as the billboard. The mailings brought in so much business that the salon and spa decided to take it to a bigger medium, Ibgui said.

He said the billboard caters, in part, to his “huge” male clientele.

“I don’t want to sound like a chauvinistic pig, but this is a man’s world,” he said.

That’s the problem, some residents say, and the billboard only makes it worse.

“It doesn’t represent us as people whose beauty emanates from within,” Thibeau said. “I’m a mother, a wife, a member of the PTA, and this is an affront to everything I work for and try to instill in my children.”

Cathe Russe, a mother of four girls, stands behind Ibgui’s right to put up the billboard, but she does not like its message.

“It demonstrates that there’s a set of values they support that are the antithesis of my values,” Russe said. “I would love to see it removed.”

Lutz and Russe added that by pointing out defects on an “obviously beautiful” woman, the billboard feeds into society’s obsession with looks.

The billboard is in unincorporated Cook County, not Glenview, and there’s no ordinance on the county’s books that regulates the content of billboards unless they depict nudity or graphic language, said Cook County Commissioner Gregg Goslin, whose district includes part of Glenview.

“We don’t regulate taste,” said Goslin, adding that he is not offended by the billboard. “That’s part of the problem here; when you start regulating who’s offended and who’s not offended, that’s just a really tough issue.”

A Chicago billboard featuring pictures of a scantily clad man and woman stating, “Life’s short. Get a divorce,” was taken down this month on the Gold Coast because it did not have a permit.

Ibgui said there’s no comparison between that billboard and his.

And although some residents said they won’t return to Ibgui’s salon, he said he’s not worried about losing customers.

“I don’t want to sound cocky, but I’m so big in the business that if I lose a handful of clients, we’ll get some new ones,” he said. “You don’t like what we sell? Goodbye. Good luck. Go somewhere else.”

Besides, Ibgui said, he can’t please everyone.

“You know what? My next billboard is going to be of a 300-pound woman and it will say, ‘Could you help me please?’ ” Ibgui joked. “Then everyone would be after me saying, ‘My son is traumatized because you showed me a fat woman.’

“You can never win.”
